For those who have completed the four semesters of the Basic Tier courses, the Calvary Road Bible Institute offers more advanced studies. While it is not necessary for someone to actually have completed the Basic Tier to take these advanced courses, at least a strong knowledge of the Bible and biblical doctrines is necessary.
The advanced courses come in two varieties, designed with different groups in mind.
For the "above average" Sunday school student, the Bible Institute offers "intermediate" courses as part of Calvary Road Baptist Church's Wednesday night Connect program. These courses are more advanced than Sunday school courses, but are not at a college / seminary level.
Over the years these courses have included prophecy, Colossains and the Cults, Ephesians, Ecclesiastes, Genesis, Church History, Revelation, the Gospels of Matthew, Mark, Luke and John, and a study of the Bible itself.
At a more advanced level, continuing the concpt of non-accredited college / seminary courses, the Bible Institute offers a series of in-depth courses on Thursday nights. These are year long topics taught at a college level of instruction. They are deisgned to pick up where the Basic Tier ends, picking a variety of topics or Bible books extending the Surveys already offered in the Basic Tier.
The current study is theIsaiah, being a verse-by-verse study of this Biblical book. It is anticipated this study will take two school years to complete.
